Meet the Medical Professionals Helping Shape Doctiplus

At Doctiplus, we believe that access to healthcare information should be supported by real clinical experience, professional standards, and a patient-first approach.

Our Founding Medical Advisory Council brings together experienced healthcare professionals from different specialties and clinical backgrounds. Their perspectives help inform the medical standards, patient-focused principles, and healthcare quality practices that guide the Doctiplus platform.

The council represents a range of clinical disciplines, including family medicine, dermatology, physical therapy and rehabilitation, cardiology, and women’s health.

Our goal is simple: to make finding and understanding healthcare professionals easier while keeping clinical quality, accuracy, and patient trust at the center of the experience.

1. What the Medical Advisory Council Does

3. A Multidisciplinary Perspective on Healthcare

Healthcare does not fit into a single specialty.

A patient’s experience may involve primary care, specialist treatment, rehabilitation, preventive medicine, women’s health, dermatology, or several disciplines working together.

That’s why the Founding Medical Advisory Council brings together professionals with different areas of expertise.

4. Our Commitment to Clinical Quality

Doctiplus is built around the idea that patients should be able to find healthcare professionals with confidence.

Our medical advisory work supports this commitment by encouraging:

Evidence-Informed Information

Health information should be grounded in established medical knowledge and presented responsibly.

Clear Communication

Medical information should be understandable to patients without sacrificing important clinical context.

Professional Expertise

Healthcare content and standards benefit from input from qualified professionals with relevant clinical experience.

Patient-Centered Care

Healthcare decisions ultimately affect real people. Patient safety, dignity, accessibility, and understanding should remain central.

Responsible Health Information

Online health information should inform and educate rather than replace individualized care from a qualified healthcare professional.

4. How the Council Supports Doctiplus

The council’s expertise helps inform the principles behind the platform, while Doctiplus maintains responsibility for its operational, editorial, verification, and technology processes.

Council members provide professional perspectives within their areas of expertise. Their participation does not mean that every doctor profile, article, recommendation, or healthcare decision on Doctiplus has been individually reviewed or approved by every council member.

Where medical content is reviewed by a specific council member or qualified medical reviewer, Doctiplus should identify the reviewer and the applicable review date on that content.

5. Meet the People Behind Our Medical Standards

The Founding Medical Advisory Council represents the clinical experience and professional perspective that help shape our approach to healthcare quality.

We are committed to building a platform where patients can discover healthcare professionals more confidently, understand medical information more clearly, and make better-informed decisions about seeking care.

Clinical expertise matters. Patient trust matters. And both should remain at the heart of digital healthcare.
